Repairs

All our luthiers are highly trained, and have extensive experience working with violins, violas and cellos. We do all our repairs in-house, from basic adjustments right through to complex crack repairs.

We are players as well as luthiers, so we work hard to optimize the tone of your instrument, and love nothing better than to get it playing as well as it can.

If you phone us or email ahead with photos, we can sometimes initiate the appraisal process, but we need to look at the instrument or bow face-to-face, to assess it thoroughly.

We also work on double basses. Because we don’t have a big workshop space, these repairs need to be booked in well ahead.
